Recording Shows to DVD

I am testing SageTV and a few other PVR types of software suites. So far I like SageTV, but wondered if you can record to DVD within SageTV or do you have to record the files from directory using 3rd party DVD burning software?

Thanks,
Eric

There is a great DVD-burning STVi available which uses (freeware) third-party external programs for encoding / burning, and which allow you to burn your DVD compilation in a matter of a few button presses. A new and improved version is coming out soon, check it out here

Edit: And as usual, I was not fast enough ...

Thanks for the quick reply! Once I get some things recorded and buy a DVD burner for that box I'll try it out Any suggestions on good but cheap DVD burners?

I was skeptical of the DVD burn mod at first, but after using it, it is very automated, slick and works awesome.
