Closed Captioning stays on

I am running Sage TV V2.1.10. I have ripped my DVD's to my hard drive. When I watch them under Imported Video Files, I get closed captioning popping up on the screen. I have the Closed Captioning turned off in Sage TV but still get closed captioning when viewing. Thanks in advance for your help!

I had the same problem before. Interestingly enough, if I tried turning the Captions ON, I'd get 2 sets of captions on the screen.

Unfortunately, I never did figure out what the problem was. I ended up having some other issues as well, so I just formatted and re-installed.

The same thing happens with my setup. Was hoping there was a fix as this is a brand new reload of Windows 2000 with no other programs other than SageTV and a decrypter program on it.

I've seen something similar before, and I wouldn't call it a bug.

the DVD's I've tried have had both Closed Captioning and Subtitles available. If you have both options enabled in Sage, you will get overlapping CC and Subtitles.
