|
Empty "Archived Recordings" bug or not?
I installed sage v6 beta, copied my wiz.bin & sage.properties over from the old (v5) installation. All my recordings are there but my Archived Recordings list is empty. Am I making a mistake? Could this be a bug?

Is v6 installed on a different PC? If you moved recordings and/or your drives, you may have effectively unarchived those recordings by moving them. I don't think I've heard anything about recordings getting unarchived otherwise during an upgrade to v6, but you never know.
BTW: if you are installing on to the same PC, you can install an upgrade over the top of the previous version & it will automatically use your old database and configuration settings. You could make a backup copy of the old install dir if you wanted to before installing the upgrade. - Andy
