Haupage 500 vs 150, Difference?

If you dont use the tuner on the cards and don't ever plan on it, Just sat receiver, Is there a point of purchasing the Haupage TV 500? OR can one just purchase the additional header Plug it into PVR150 and connect my second sat receiver to it, And effectivly have a dual tuner?
Or is there more to the PVR500 than just the second tuner?

Also, I am torn between a streamzap remote,haupage, andf the firefly?

Recomendations?

It's not just a question of dual tuners. You need dual encoders as well. The 500 has them, the 150 does not. So no matter which input you use (coax, composite, or S-video), the 150 cannot encode more than one signal at a time. The 500 can encode two at a time.

Yes there's the second demodulator/decoder and the second encoder chip.

The 150 can only record one thing at a time, regardless of how many ports you have on it.

Any input on remote question, I am just looking for remote that serves most of the functions oob, As My current MCE remote seems to have some really funky translations.
blaster is not a concern as I just purchased 10 D10-100 receivers on ebay and usb to serials to boot.
