Mce Blasters With Motorola Dct2000 problem (Using HIP)

I'm trying to get HIP configured to control my motorola dct2000 via a set of MCE blasters for use with sage.

I initially had trouble getting HIP to "learn" the commands from my stb remote (or any other remote in my house). It just times out every time while i am pushing buttons on the remote. The indicator on the MCE IR reciever flashes, which I assume means it is getting some signal, however, HIP isn't picking it up.

After doing some reading, I tried downloading some CCF files and using those to get the IR commands into HIP. Using the downloaded CCF's, I can send signals to the stb, but they are not being apllied correctly. If I try to send the command "1" to the stb, it receives the signal as multiple 1's (I think 4). So if I send "12" the stb is receiving "11112222".

Is there a way that I can edit the IR command so that it doesnt send multiple copies? There appear to be patterns in the data exported from the CCF files, but I am not familiar enough with the formatting to be able to edit them successfully. Here is what HIP is getting from the CCF for "1"

From looking through the data files in the HIP directory for the remote profile I created, it looks like HIP saves the only the hex data to a file with named "command.remote_name". Would I only have to edit this part of the data? Or is what I am suggesting not possible?

I only get this multiple signal problem with the number commands (0-9), but not with the CH+ or CH- commands. HIP reports the length of the number commands to be 219, 239, or 259 depending on the number. The CH+/- commands are also 219 in length.

I have tried a number of CCF files all with the same result or an error message saying the IR format is not supported by MceIr.dll

ANY help would be appreciated.

Problem "learning" STB remote in HIP

I am trying to setup HIP to control my stb for use with sage, but HIP is having trouble "learning" my the IR codes for my stb remote. I tried other remotes in my house, but it won't learn any of those either.

I am using a MCE receiver, blaster, and remote.

Is there a way that I can check if I have configured HIP correctly to "learn" IR codes? I figured if I shot the MCE remote at the receiver while HIP was trying to "learn" an IR code, it would at least pick up something, but it didn't. That is what is making me think I configured something wrong.
