Can I program my MCE remote to off/on TV
I have a Sagetv Client connected to my 50in Plasma and I'm using a MCE remote. Is there a way to program the remote to turn the tv off and on? It does have a TV button?
Thanks

if you have the Philips made MCE remote then yes you can reprogram the tv power and volume controls with the post above. But there is alot of fake/no name remotes that looks the same that can not be.

Nope, the original 34 and 45-button hauppauge remotes aren't reprogramable.
