New video card problems - Overlay only works in window,

I just switched from a Radeon 9550 to a Nvidia 6200 because I was constantly getting BSODs with the Radeon.

Whenever I try to use overlay while I'm in fullscreen mode I get a PlaybackException error (-4,0x80040217). But if I go to windowed mode, it works!

If I try VMR9, it works in full screen. It also works for HD channels, but only certain channels are playbacked smoothly. For example, ABC is perfectly smooth, but CW has a slight stutter to it.

So if anyone has ideas on how to fix either problem (1-how to get overlay to work in full screen. 2-how to get HDTV playback smoothly on all channels), I'd appreciate it.

Also, does anyone have suggestions on what forceware version to use?
