MVP License Won't register-Help

I have a registered sage server 5.02. I have just purchased a media mvp from sage with an extender license. I follow the instructions for registering the extender, but it keeps returning the error that it is an invalid key. I have tried exiting sage, rebooting computer, etc. with no luck. The media extender is hooked up to a tv and it finds the server fine and loads sage estender. I try to play a video and then it displays Trial. I assume this will go away when registered properly. Any help getting it registered would be greatly appreciated.

If you are completely exiting SageTV before running Start -> All Programs -> SageTV -> "Register SageTV Media Extender or Placeshifter License", and you are using Copy & Paste from the email w/the extender license to make sure it is getting entered exactly as what is in the email, then I suggest contacting SageTV tech support.

Yes. Exactly what I am doing (copy/past from email). Just sent an email to sage. Hopefully they wil respond soon.

Make sure that when you copy the key, you are copying ONLY the key, and not any extra spaces, periods, commas, quotes, etc.

Maybe paste the key into Notepad, inspect it, then re-copy from Notepad.

Many Email apps are notorious for mangling long text strings.

Good idea, but still no luck getting the license to register. Do I have to enter the license on the MVP Client anywhere, or just on the server?

An extender or placeshifter license only gets entered via the process I mentioned above, only on the server that the extender/placeshifter will be connecting to.

Yes, that is what I am doing. Sounds like an invalid key was sent. Hopefully I will hear from them soon regarding this. The return policy is fairly short and I need to get it up and going to make sure it is going to work OK in my environment.
