ADSL Routers and Wireless MVP

I've commented on previous threads about problems with a friends wireless MVP connecting to her router.

I was wondering who is sucessfully using the hauppauge wireless MVP and what make/model wireless routers they're using.

We had a D-Link DSL-G604T working with wireless MVP, but a local placeshifter errored when playback started. I can't get it to connect to the internet since doing a firmware update

A netgear DG834GT will playback placeshifter on the local network fine, but the wireless MVP's wont get an IP address.

I may try using the netgear for the adsl connection and use the d-link for the wireless and see if I can frig it that way for now, but ideally I'd like to know...

a) those using a netgear dg834g or dg834gt wireless router, have you got wireless mvp's working, or do you use a remote bridge, and if so which.

or

b) if someone has both placeshifter and wireless MVP's working, what router they use.
