Google video is blank w/audio
Another 6.0.12 growing pain: The image goes black when I try to play a Google Video, but the audio is still working.
I've tried the mplayer/<always use for mpeg4>=false (just a guess) but that didn't work... I'm running on a VIA M10000, with Overlay (since VMR won't work on this mobo) BTW - DVDs (from HDD files) work fine - even got SPDIF 5.1 working. Thx- RenHoek |

Fixed it myself....Had to enable Overlay Color Keying in the Advanced menu.

I have the same problem but it only happens when I use Source Aspect Ratio.

Funny you should say that - once I got mine going last night (this AM...), it was split down the middle vertically, with the right-half of the video on the left of the screen, and the left-half of the video on the right-half of the screen. Switching away from Source (or even 4:3) over to 16:9 fixed it (letterboxing it at the same time, too) - even though the videos are at 4:3 on Google...
Another little quirk.... |

I have the same problem but neither of these fixes helped me.

Same here. It's only on the client - 6.15. I have the video folder shared on the server end, and I can browse and play them outside of sage. I can also play them in sage server. Mov files are doing the same thing.

Blank Google Video
The workaround supplied by support was not to use VMR with my video card. This worked but I lost FSE and OSD transparency. I went back to my old config and now don't watch Google Video on the server PC. Instead I use it on my Media Extender or placeshifter client on my laptop.
A shout out to Sage support for actually supportiung the beta even though I was just trying to provide feedback. |
