We just saw this on a system the other day we were working with. We had to revert to an older NVidia driver to correct the issue. The problem is even reproducible in GraphEdit; so it's not a SageTV issue. It's definitely an NVidia driver bug.

Would you mind also reporting this to nVidia? As a developer you might get more attention then us users have.

Jeff,
Do you have an updated changelog for the latest build of the 6.0.12 beta? (Hint: Including the latest build update from Qian)

Thanks,

Converting a video to IPod seems to be broken. If I try this (which was working fine under .11) it immediately says "FAILED".

Others seem to work.

I installed v6.0.12 on my server and a placeshifter client that I am using over the internet, that I have used before. The quality is lousy(pixelization). I used it yesterday with v6.0.11 and the quality was great. I haven't changed any settings.
Has anything been added from 6.0.11 to 6.0.12 that I need to tweek.

You're not uploading today where you weren't yesterday? If I forget to pause my BitTorrent client, my PS connection is rubbish. If I pause it, PS is okay. Perhaps you don't have a cr*ppy cable connection like me though...

I'm having trouble with the first beta placeshifter. Dynamic streaming never seems to settle on a rate, rate shoots up and down constantly with constant stuttering. Fix the rate and its much better, although the rate figure is still going up and down constantly.

QAM supported in V6.0.12

QAM is supported in V6.0.12 on OnAir USB GT tuner http://www.autumnwave.com/.

Since there is no information in EPG data that we can use for tuning or mapping, you have to scan and mapping EPG channel. we don't have a easy way so far, but you could sort out all channels that have "(C)" in name, which are "Condition Access" Channels.

WOW!
Would this be with the Windows version, Linux version or both?

(I gotta get me one of these devices.)

Are other cards planned? I could almost get 3 Dvico cards for the price of one of these!

It's only $179. But, the HdHomeRun is $169 and has two tuners...

H.264 in MPEG-2 TS still not working

I'm going to submit a bug report, but it seems this didnt get fixed. I tried to view a pre-recorded H264 recording, and a live stream, from Dishnetwork via R5000 network encoder, and both gave me the same playback error as below:

Too bad, I was really hoping this was fixed... seems like its still calling the DirectShow player and not the mplayer.

Just installed 6.0.12.
FLAC file import caused my server to crash, and now the service keeps crashing ...

Filed bug report, and reverted back to 6.0.11 for now

Does anyone have any comments about any of this, or if they have one of these capable boxes, how it is working? Stuttering, heavy CPU usage, best decoder to use, etc.? Thanks!
I purchased this unit a week ago to help with testing for Sage. I have to say this has been one of the most trouble-free devices I have ever purchased.

The company is also terrific! their tech support responded to my question(s) quickly. Also over on AVS forum at: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...&page=14&pp=30 you will find they respond all the time to customer's requests.

Gotta tell you I have a lot more confidence in these guys than many other manufacturers. With it's little tiny antenna, it tunes 3 more stations than my DVICO RT GOLD card with external rabbit ears. And QAM to boot!

My two thumbs up.

Where are you buying your DVICO cards? The cheapest DVICO card I see is $99. This USB HDTV device is $169 at Wallmat.com (of all places!)

Have not tested it with Sage yet...
Just an FYI, I couldn't seem to get this program to work correctly for me (IMDB imports) - it uses some kind of weird e-mail interface to work, and it's just kind of strange overall.

It seems that with this Beta I cannot FF or REW. My encoded XVID files. I am Using the regular STV with Sageplayer. Any one else see this??? It also doesn't remember the stop time it starts from the beginning. Regardless where I left off.

Backing off to the previous Beta everything works fine. Definitely a bug in this beta.
