Security Cameras and SageTV?

SageTV is the TV client on every "TV" in my house. We are expecting our 2nd child in the next few days.

Now is the time for me to integrate some type of Video/Audio camera system to make life easier for my wife.

I'd like to have a Camera/Audio in our newborn's room and our front door.

I know exactly how to do this, I just don't know if there is some way I can integrate it with SageTV.

Step 1 is to search the forum and find out how the other people that are doing it have done so - because there are other people doing it.

For further assistance just follow the link on this page - http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...72&postcount=3

Havent been able to set it up yet, but Sage V6 should support H264.
My Axis network camera's can stream H264.
That should be an easy way forward.

I searched before asking this question.

I'm not sure what the problem was, and there's a chance it was user error because, unfortunately due to a back injury I'm under heavy medication atm, but...

I just searched again and did find some relevant posts.

Regardless, I'm sure it brightened your day to tell someone l2search.

I'm going to be setting up something like this pretty soon.

What I'm doing is using a modulator I picked up from www.partsexpress.com

It "makes" channels of your choosing and you feed it baseband audio and video signals. Like a security camera for instance.

Mine is a three channel modulator so it will make three channels. I've set them as 91, 92, and 93. You can set it for whatever you like.

So I'll take one of my PVR-150's and plug the modulator into it, dedicating it just for this purpose. My plan is to have one channel for my front door with a camera I picked up, one for the driveway with a different camera, and one channel for my Sirius radio.

Here's the modulator I'm using: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=180-318
