Actisys 2 digit channel change woes

I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3100 cable box and can't seem to get the remote (actisys 200l) to make two or three digit channel changes. Single digit channel changes are ok, but when I ty to change to say, channel 55, the actisys remote transmits 0055, which my box interpets as 005 and then as 5, changing the box to channel 5 twice!. I've tried playing around with the delays in the advanced setup, but no go. I've confirmed that the remote transmission of the 0-9 digits are ok in setup, ( I've even set up a custom box teaching the remote each digit) but I can't seem to get rid of these pesky two 0s each change is preceeded by. Any help will be appreciated.

There is an option to limit the number of pre-zeros sent. This has been discussed on the forums, but i cant remeber what file it is in . A search on actisys or 200L should turn up some results.
