Backward compatibility question
I have a quick question.
If an STV/STVi is edited in Studio under Sage V6, will it still be backward compatible to older versions of Sage if none of the new features/widgets are used? Or is the STV/STVi fundamentally different and not backward compatible no matter what? Thanks. Mike

No, the v6 STV files are not usable by v5.
And, due to a core change, earlier STVs shouldn't really be used in v6 unless they are updated as mentioned in the Studio forum & in the v6 Studio manual (Chapter 1 lists v6 changes/requirements). - Andy
