2 PVR 500's installation help

Hi putting together a new SAGETV server. Want to use 2 PVR 500's

Any issues with two 500's in the same box? I know the nvdia cards can not work with two in same box..

"If" two can work together, anyone know how the svideo/ RCA versus Coax works?

Can 1 500 be used to run a set top box via svideo straight off the card and then record another channel via coax?

If I want to run two set top boxes, one off the cards inputs and another off the extension thingy (thingy is a tech term right?) will that work?

Which of the two connectors do I use if I plan on still using the svideo on the card?

As long as you're using an Intel or Nvidia motherboard you should be fine. Some VIA, SIS, and Ali chipsets have problems with high PCI traffic and can give a lot of problems.

I have two 500s working in a Via motherboard (Asus A7V333). It took some PCI slot juggling to find a stable arrangement of cards, but once I did I haven't had any problems with it.
