anybody try this capture card?

I saw this video capture card and from the looks of it, it has a hardware encoder (says coexant2388x) and it says it can capture mpeg4. I saw it for $36 dollars at an online store.

My inital reaction is that its too good, does anybody see something I am missing? Also, from what I have seen it should be compatable with Sage, is this right? Thanks.

That's not a hardware encoder, that's the TV/Broadcast decoder (the "digitizer" for lack of a better term).

That's a software encoder card.
