Forcing a channel update
I have tried to force a channel update by deselecting and then re-selecting channels on my map. For some reason, Zap2it has the channels that are missing from my Starchoice map, so I know they are there (*C has added a few channels recently).
Is there something I am missing, or is the process still...call up your map, de-select and then re-select a channel to enable a forced epg channel update. thanks |

I had a similar issue. So i found that the absolute, simplest way to do an EPG update is to install the Web Interface plugin. Once installed and configured, navigate to the Home page with your favorite browser, and click the "Force EPG Update" link. You'll also find the Web interface to be very useful in many other ways also.
