Poll: Suggestion for creating a 'My SageTV Project' subforum

I would like to suggest on creating a subforum to post our PVR proyect, I dont know what other think, but it would be really usefull for other people to see what works for most of the people. The idea of this subforum came after watching the MP3car forums, where user have a thread in a 'Projects in progress' and when proyect is finished, thread its moved to a 'Finished proyects'.

The thread could have hardware setup, software setup (including versions of stuff like windows, java, sagetv, codecs, etc), if used with extenders, what kind of playback media its used for (SD/HD content) some comments regaring its experience with performance, drawbacks that have experienced.

What you guys think of this idea? Lets get some feedback and maybe we could create some template for the 'Proyect report'

It's a good idea. But we also have the Sage Community WIKI where something could probably be also set up too. Just a thought.

A WIKI would be kinda difficult to keep track. Since a user would post all his info on his setup, and then maybe other users would comment on his setup, or maybe on how to fix some issues (if he specifies on the first post). Take a look at this just to get the idea http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=25

HTPCnews.com has a gallery/user project area in thier forums. You could create it there and link to it in a thread here.

I like the idea. The only issue I see is that people may see a similar setup as theirs, and then start asking a bunch of support questions in that thread.
