Best way to trim/hide CC stream on firewire capture?
Got everything set up and I'm loving it except the annoying CC stream on SD channels at the top of the screen. How can I go about getting rid of that?

Increase the aspect ratio slightly, or offset vertically enough so that the CC stream moves off the edge of the screen. Standard TV's have somewhere around 5-15% of overscan, which hides this.
Go to settings>Detailed Setup>MUltimedia>Aspect ratio settings. then you can adjust the picture to better fit your system. |

Ah! Knew I was missing something. I've been adjusting overscan everywhere but there. I'll give that a shot.
Thanks

Yah, it can be a little confusing sometimes.
There is "overscan" in Sage, but that controls the size of the UI. "Aspect Ratio" controls the size of the video. There are 4 different Aspect ratio settings that you can play with, and each one can be tweaked separately. |

Yeah, I didn't have much time to mess with it tonight but simply setting the vertical stretch to 105 made it 'go away'. I'll spend some quality time with it this weekend.
