Can't log-in to Placeshifter over internet, but can connect

I'm trying to connect to SageTV using Placeshifter from my office. I have a server setup at home w/ SageTV on it. I am able to connect using Placeshifter from my desktop computer at home w/ no problems. I have have one Placeshifter license. I thought that I only needed one license as long as there was only one connection at a time, but I get the error shown in the attached pic. I checked the desktop computer this morning to make sure it was not connected. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Tammie

On a LAN, it usually doesn't need a username + password to connect. But, remote connections require that you create a user in Detailed Setup -> Advanced -> Manage Placeshifter Users.

Well, I had a user setup, but after your reply I checked it and I didn't have it enabled. DUH!

So now I'm able to connect, but the picture quality was really bad. Kinda blurry looking. So now I need to figure that out. But at least I can schedule recordings no problem.

Thanks!

The picture quality will be different over the internet because the bandwidth on that connection is nowhere near what your LAN would have. The video is being transcoded to a lower quality to fit the connection speed for your remote connection.
