Yahoo Go TV vs. SageTV

Yahoo just released a beta of their Go TV software (formerly Meedio), for free download no less. How does it compare to SageTV?

unless you mean a newer beta, the Yahoo Go beta has been out for a while, not too long after they acquired meedio. In terms of a media services, it has some nice features that SageTV currently lacks, such as many yahoo services support (flickr, music/launch, video, etc). Although, from the teasers, SageTV 5.1 will have some improved features in this area.

In terms of PVR, nothing beats SageTV.

I believe they released a new beta a few days ago.

New beta basically gets you a video window in each screen. New flickr photostream and more cards are supported. Actually a little underwhelming but probably more bugs are fixed. From a PVR aspect Sage TV has more features and is more mature. Yahoo Go TV is trying to make some headway but it's a slow Go.
