New Oztivo Grabber
The guys over at Xpmediacenter have released a new grabber for the Oztivo epg. http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/comm...do=file&id=112
You have to register here first. http://minnie.tuhs.org/twiki/bin/vie...kiRegistration and add the channels that you would like to populate your epg. The xml file ends up in C:\WINDOWS\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\GuideData You will have to have .NET 2 installed. Works really well and is very fast. Last edited by ozfiles; 09-09-2006 at 08:10 PM. |

It works and it's fast. My only consern is that it seems to be using MS Outlook to send out some information (I don't know exactly what it's sending out). Anyone any ideas?

wget -O xmltv.xml --http-user=<User> --http-passwd=<Password> "http://minnie.tuhs.org/tivo-bin/xmlguide.pl" For some reason it doesn't put the channel defnitions in the xmltv file so I've just been inserting them by using sed. Cheers Peter |

Thanks Peter. I didn't realise I can use wget, that sounds like a better option, will give it a try.

I worked out that the reason that it doesn't put the channel id's by default is 'by design'. If you use MythTV for example, you specify the XMLTV Channel ID's for your lineup within MythTV and you then just import the XMLTV show data. I'm currently trying to play with Demideus's plugin to see if I can make it do the same for SageTV... If it works, someone should probably submit it to SageTV as an enhancement request.. I've tested this with Demideus's plugin and it works like a bought one. As an example, an xmltv.properties file for Foxtel might look something like:
