if you want to use subtitles and such all you have to do is include subtitle file next to the avi file and they must have the same name ie: movie1.avi (or .divx), and movie1.srt. I think thats all it takes unless I'm wrong or don't remember, but I have a bunch of movies that use the divx codecs and have subtitles so I know its possible

I have a file with .srt subtitle data and it does not show up in Sage.
However, I am using the xvid codec for mpg4 video playback. Is srt support a feature of the divx codec only?
