Computer suggestions

I had posted earlier about how I was about to add a 46 inch LCD TV and wanted to add it to my computer. Per some suggestions here, I was going to add a ATI X1300 Pro video card to my computer. But in checking, it turns out my Dell computer has an intergrated video card with no slot to add another. The video is not so hot on my 17 inch LCD monitor, so I guess I am going to have to get another computer that either already has a suitable video card or a slot to add a good video card.

I don't want to spend any more than I have to (obviously). Should I get some Windows Media Center computer, or is there some emachine, etc. out there that would work fine if I just added a good video card?

To make a long story short, I want a CPU that has enough processor speed to record HD OTA and then a video card with output that will plug HDI, etc into a large LCD TV.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Brent

The last two were Dells, and I bought their directly through Dell. But I would probably buy this one locally at Best Buy, Office Depot or Staples.

Looks like some of the newer eMachines w/ AMD 64 have a PCIe x16 expansion slot, so that should do the trick. I'd suggest an Nvidia 7xxx series video card.

I'm all for cheap - but I'm really skeptic about eMachines. If you are proficient (and self-confident enough) you can buy a barebone and piece it together yourself.

There's really not much to it.
