How to get ps2 on my computer

I have a ati wonder elite and SageTv, Is there a way to be able to get my ps2 to run in SageTv, when its hooked up to my computer though the purple dongle thing that comes with the card.

You could always use the video "capture" option thru the software. There might be a slight delay though. Since the ATI Wonder isn't an Mpeg encoder card, the delay would be very slight so it may not affect you. You are probably better off to get one of those external tv tuner/tv input devices that connects to your monitor directly that would allow you to bypass your tower all together.

how do i get to or use video "capture", in SageTv?

I try to make a new source, S-video on the same card, and it will play the audio from the ps2 but no visual.

It's not going to work right anyway - it'll always be a few seconds behind because SageTV is going to want to create a buffer first.

No, it's just part of what SageTV does. It doesn't know the difference between a PS2 being hooked up or a Cable box, it will treat them the same - being that you will see the delay no matter what.

I'm not sure why the OP is wanting to use SageTV. But if that card has a "live preview" mode like the Hauupage cards do, using something like Dscaler might be acceptable. There will still be a slight delay, whether it is too much I don't know. But if he just wants to play his PS2 on his computer monitor maybe it will work.
