I know this may sound like a stupid question, but...
I know this might seem like a totally stupid question. Actually, I've been pretty embarrassed to ask this for the longest time..
Why does SageTV's HDTV video (regardless of mpeg2 decoder) appear to not have the same tight, quick frame rate as overlay video on the same machine? The symptom I'm describing looks almost like VMR9 is going at a slightly slower frame rate that's needed for totally smooth video.
At first, I thought it might be the relatively high resolution that I'm using. But, after thinking about it, the resolution I'm using is ideal for 1920x1080 deinterlaced video on a 4:3 display. The specs to my PC are in my signature. Maybe I'm missing something very obvious?
