ATI TV Wonder Elite HW Encoding+Captions

Here's a graph to allow the embedding of captions into the hardware encoder mpeg2 video stream. Since there's no registry workaround for this card, is there a way I can get SageTV to record using this?? I really don't want to have to replace this card with a hauppauge 250...

The ATI filters are from ATI's Multimedia Center (which doesn't work with my card)
The Elecard filters are from Elecard's MPEG-2 Decoder&Streaming Plug-in for WMP
