Using wireless LAN
did someone already try to view tv (live or recorded) on a client that is connected to the server (with tv tuner card) via wirless lan.
what is the quailty? what bandwith is needed? |

The recommendation is 802.11a or g. I have heard some people able to do it on an 802.11b but with lower bitrates. It is not so much the bandwidth as it is the usable bandwidth. while wireless is rated at 11MB, 54MB the actual usable bandwidth is in many cases much lower because of interference, security, etc.
