Levels Control Issue using Sage

Hi guys,

Recently started using Sage and am digging it so far but there's one issue that's really screwing my enjoyment. I think its a hardware issue so I'm posting here but if it belongs somewhere else let me know.

I'm running the latest Sage fullscreen using Exclusive mode. I use Powerstrip to output 1776x1000i at 1080i timings. I also have my color defaults set up just the way I want them through Powerstrip. Here's my issue.

Upon starting Sage, everything looks great. Menu is displayed and my colors (or levels if that's a better term) look just the way they do on my desktop. Now as shortly after I start Sage (and usually after I've navigated around the menu) Sage (or my video card, whichever) go black for about a second. When Sage comes back, my colors are darker - by alot.

Now, sometimes, when I start watching a program, they revert back to the way they should be. But often, they stay that real dark, making the show unwatchable. When they stay that dark, I give up and exit Sage. Upon exiting Sage, about a second or so after, the desktop lights back up to its previous levels and looks normal. Really frustrating.

I'm using a 9600xt. I'm also using the SageMC stv with the latest build by flashcar if that makes a difference. Any help you fellas could give would be much, much appreciated. Thanks.
