converts mpegs for use with ipod

For the Ipod Linux users,

I spent a week trying to figure out ffmpeg program on my Fedora Core 5 Sage Server.
After searching the internet and learning a little about compiling code, I found success.

Apparently all the repositories use the same rpm version.
Don't use Fedora's ffmpeg rpm.. you need to recompile it with the correct options.

Another useful program is Gtkpod, which uploads videos to ipod.

Good luck
