ERROR: sage.PlaybackException: Error (-4,0x8004022f):
Updated my O/S to XP Media Center and loaded SageTV 2.1 then upgraded to 4.0. I have sound but no video. While in Channel Setup I try to View a channel and I get a pop up error message that reads:
"There was a Playback Error in playback. Details: sage.PlaybackException: Error (-4,0 x8004022f): There was a problem rendering the video portion of the content for playback." I have loaded all the latest drivers and decoders from Hauppauge. Don't know what to do? Help. P2.4, 768megs Ram, 400gig h/d space, 3 PVR-250's, all drivers updated from Hauppauge. What am I missing here? (Screen Shot Attached)

I am just guessing here because I don't know much about Media Center, but is Media Center running? Does Media Center have control over your tuners. I don't think both Media Center (the app) and Sage could both be running at the same time.

Media Center is an application within the XP Media Center O/S and is not running. I know there are PVR-250's and PVR-250MCE cards...I am wondering in the PVR-250's are not supported in Media Center but I have found nothing to suggest that.

Have you checked to make sure the MCE services are disabled? They are enabled by default, and need to be disable in order to run SageTV.
You can find them by going to: Start > Control Panel > Performance & Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Services There are 3 of them, if you have the latest MCE Roll-Up, or 2, if not. Set them to Diabled, so they don't start with every reboot.
