Sage 5 giving me problems with Direct TV Serial

Any verison of Sage 5 I use, I get a time when the cable will not turn the channel. I works for a day or two. I went back to Sage 4 this week and it worked great. This morning I went to version 5 and the same thing. It goes to the program guide on Direct TV. I don't think it is the cable. Can some on please help? Thank you for your time.

You should try using one the older DirecTVSerialControl.dll's
I was having a similiar problem and assuming yours worked fine before upgrading I would just use the one provided with version 4.

Here is some discussion:

That worked for me. I had a backup of my SageTV directory from before I upgraded to V5. Grabbed the DirecTVSerialControl DLL from there and now it works like a charm.

Thanks a ton!
