Recent Problem - recordings getting split
I'm running SagaTV 4 on my system. Recently, on some recordings, SageTV records fine for a while, then stops and starts a new file of the show that I'm recording. For instance, last night I was recording a two hour show with two minutes pre-padding and five minutes post-padding. I got one file about 33 minutes in length, then another almost an hour and a half in length. Of course, there was a bit of the show missing when the software stopped and restarted.
The first time I began experiencing this problem, I completely uninstalled and reinstalled SageTV, but I guess the problem persists. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Ah, I just started a new thread on the same subject.
For me this only happens when I am watching the show that is being recorded on my client and do a skip forward/backward. I am running 5.0.4 btw. |

This was a recording that I had set up and then I went to bed, so there was no interaction with SageTV.
However, this morning I did download the newest drivers for my Hauppauge PVR150 card, as a few messages I was able to find on this forum indicated that this might be a cause.

So, did the driver update fix your problem?

I can't tell, because the utility ChrisTWEAK that I use along with SageTV doesn't work with the new drivers. I'll try the new drivers again. The problem is intermittent; I wonder if the card itself could be going bad on me?

I think I may have solved the problem:
I think that maybe my original installed drivers were corrupted somehow. The newest drivers seemed to work fine. I went back to my original download file of the original drivers and installed them. So far, no split files in two days...<fingers crossed>
