You guys are cruel.

Can someone say whether or not audio CDs work the way they should?
Some comments I've seen have eluded to a better media library which is good but I'd like to see (read) about improvements in the basics.

Where's that info at? I haven't seen anything on it yet.

Pshhh...until there is CableCARD or an Xbox 360 ext. support nothing can get me excited. And actually...just CableCARD would be the biggest thing I want. DRM it all you want because DRM or no DRM, it has no affect with me. But obviouslly, DRM sucks.

The current plan is to release the v5.1 beta publicly.

How's that for some news?

Disclaimer: of course, plans could change due to some last minute issues that may pop up, but a release is the goal, which looks likely.

STV Developers: please see this reminder about an important change for the FocusGained/Lost hooks.

I never should have started this thread! I feel kind of bad, but i have to agree wtih JUC that sending out a beta over a 3 day weekend is awful. It will make me want to be home playing with Sage rather than out on the boat enjoying the sun!

Don't feel bad-without this thread Andy wouldn't have posted saying a public beta was coming this week. Well worth it.

Just to give an update....we're going to wait until next week. We found some more bugs in it that we wanted to get fixed before putting out the public beta. For once we're actually releasing a feature-complete beta. And no, we haven't said what all those features are yet....
