Ghosting of Overlays using MVP and LCD TV
I've bought a few LCD Tv's over the last month trying to fix this... the overlays created by menus and such when displaying on ALL of the LCD TV's I've tested produce what looks like an echo trailing to the right of all overlayed text and/or graphics.. this is exagerrated terribly when using the S-video output and muted when using the RCA video outputs. I've tried 3 different MVP's.. bought THX certified Monster cables.. the odd thing is that if I plug these units into an old standard 4:3 television it looks great! Only the LCD's are doing this.. I'm wondering if it isn't an issue with LCD really pushing contrast.. though no setting or adjustment I can make on the TV seems to help.
Any ideas out there?? Anybody seeing the same thing??? Currently using: Viewsonic N2050W's and MVPs (both wireless and wired) with Sagetv5 and default .stv |

Here's another thread on the topic. I for one am using an MVP with a 42" plasma with no ghosting. It appears others are seeing some to different degrees. There is a setting in the original MVP software (flicker) that helps some too.
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...light=ghosting JUC woops!! I should have read through the thread to see you were the last one to post with the problem...
