Crazy idea...

So I have an antenna rotator with a remote controller. It has the ability to create presets to a particular position (Button "A" moves antenna to 270 degrees for example)

My question is, would it be nuts to wonder if there's a way using whatever tools, USB-UIRT, Girder, and whatnot, to have the antenna move to a particular preset upon a channel change?

For instance, if my FOX station is at 240 degrees and my antenna is currently at 90 degrees, and I have a favorite (The Simpsons, say) ready to start recording on FOX, it would be awesome to have Sage send a IR signal to start the antenna rotating to the position preset for that channel.

...or am I dreaming?

I believe you can or should be able to do this via the mytheatre plugin. You would setup the tuning and the antenna control via the plugins in mytheatre, and then network encode it to sage. give it a try. Trials are free!

I.
