cant download EPG

I have downloaded the 15-day trial of Sage to try it b4 buying. I am using a DCT6200 HD box as a tuner ... I have got it to work ... I can see the DCT as a device and configure it in Sage ... the problem I am having is that I have only been able to successfully get the EPG stuff to download channels once in about 20 tries .. since it worked once, I assume that my firewall and internet settings are OK. I just get the generic "could not download EPG, check your network connection, blah message, which is not really any help. The only other issue I am having is that sometimes, after a reboot, I have to delete and re-add the DCT tuner to get LiveTV to work, but that can wait for another day to pursue. Anyone have any advice, or is the EPG in sage 5.0.04 (I am in Canada) just plain flaky?? The product is not really usable without a guide (for recording, etc).

If you allowed SageTV.exe through your firewall, then switched to service mode, you will also need to allow SageTVService.exe through the firewall.

You could also try a little later, in case the EPG server has an issue currently.

OK thanks for that tip ... but the firewall part of it must be ok ... since it works intermittently. On Saturday .. I got the EPG to download successfully every time, with no problems. Sunday night, the errors were back ... must be a server thing then I suppose ...
