Reinstalling - but don't want to loose settings

I am planning on reinstalling Sage because I kinda made a mess of it with several SVTs and SVTi and what not.
Also I was thinking of a backup procedure in case of a crash.

What are the files I need to backup in order to:
- keep my channels
- keep the whole database of watched video's, don't likes, favorites. etc?

Thanks.

The wiz.bin file contains all your viewing history and favorites, so you definitely want to keep that.

All the configuration data, channel lineups, paths, etc are in the sage(client).properties.

So to keep everything you need to save both (or possibly all three) of those files.

Now, if it's just STVs that you've got messed up, just reload the SageTV3.xml file and you'll be back to the baseline, no need to re-install.

I tried SageMC which overwrites a couple of files so I thought I'd reinstall it and start fresh. Maybe I won't but it won't hurt to back these files up, so thanks!

I'd just reload the default STV, AFAIK, SageMC doesn't change anything used by that.
