HDTV Wonder

So I am leaning towards the HDTV Wonder but I was reading how it dubs everything down to 480p. Is this correct? Or any suggestions of cards that can keep the 720p and 1080i resolutions?

Thanks!

Oy. I am not sure what the opinion is of the ATI HDTV Wonder now, but for a long time it was fairly hated. Very buggy. The popular choices are the Avermedia A180, the Vbox cards, and I use a FusionLite.

Cool, I emailed the diffrent companies to see if they do the downgrading. Do you know if the Fision Lite does it? From what I was looking out breafly it seems like the best card out there.

I have an ATI HDTV Wonder, and I would recommend against it. The software that comes with it, is horrendous, which is why I purchased sage in the 1st place.

But even worse, the analog picture (regardless if its from cable, s-video or composite), is extremely ugly, and i have no idea why. I think i might just have a defective card. Digital thru the ATSC tuner looks great however. Thats its one saving grace.

AFAIK, all the ATSC cards just capture the bistream, at least in Sage they do. Of course I'd second (or is it third or fourth) the recommendation against the HDTV Blunder.
