Other IR Receivers for 45 button Hauppauge
I have aquired a Hauppauge 45 button remote and will be receiving my PVR-500/SageTV Bundle on Wednesday. However, I have come to the realization that the PVR-500 does not accept the IR receiver that comes with the remote. Are there any USB receivers that this remote will work with? I have some lying around that I think came with a cyberlink bundle. I was just curious if anyone knew. If not, I will probably spring for another remote.

If it is some general purpose IR receiver that you can use with Girder, HIP, etc., then it should work since the Hauppauge remote is just using a standard RC5 IR protocol.
If you are aksing what receiver you can use directly via SageTV, then that is a different question & you are probably better off just getting a USB-UIRT. - Andy
