SageTV and UPNP what would that give us?

I'm curious as to what capability we would gain if SageTV was UPNP compliant?

I see media servers like Twonky, that are UPNP compliant and fully support many of the dedicated media players. If SageTV went this route would we get the ability to use these players? Players like DLINK DSM-520?

Would this mean we would only get play access and not true full client capabilities? If you get all capabilities I don't see why this is not provided, so I'm guessing that you would get play only capability.

What am I missing?

thanks,

It would pretty much only give you what you already get from twonky. It wouldnt give you the sage UI or anything like that.
