SageRecorder and SAP - Weird?

I am using SageRecorder (2 PVR250) and so far it is working great - works great and seems relatively reliable.

An interesting issue just arose - we were watching CSI from last Monday CTV Channel 13 Kitchener Ontario and we were getting the SAP soundtrack - was definitely an interesting experience to say the least.

Now my question is - is this an issue at my end or a glitch from the broadcast - I have no real way of checking whether the broadcast was incorrect - I'm playing the file via Zoomplayer and I don't see any SAP settings in that program or in SageRecorder - anyone have any ideas?

SageRecorder and SAP - Weird?

Minor change in details - CSI was election special rescheduled episode on CH 13 Kitchener from Thursday evening in case there is anyone from the SW Ontario area that might be able to shed some light on any original source issues.

SageRecorder and SAP - Weird x 2

Sagerecorder/SAP issue becomes even stranger. Watched the CSI from last Thursday. SAP soundstream was recorded again and this time there was some serious stuttering in the video as well. Sound was good but video seemed to be dropping lots of frames.

I think we may have been watching a previously recorded show at the time CSI was being recorded but the other show that was also being recorded at the same time came through fine.

Very strange. I switched the recording to a different channel for next Thursday to see if the SAP issue is channel specific.

Any other suggestions or comments are welcome.

SageRecorder and SAP - Weird?

The mystery continues -

A week last Thursday recorded CSI on a different channel (21-WSEE). It was a repaeat from last year and the SAP issue was not evident.

Last Thursday was a new episode (again on 21 WSEE) and the SAP issue was back. Not a problem on any other show so far.

It would appear to be a show or broadcaster specific issue (for me at least).
