Gateway 610S Video Issue

I have a Gateway 610S Media Center and have been having what I think are video problems...

The issue is that the screen with go blank then come back on then repeat over and over and over until it finally stays blank...At first I thought that it might have been a conflicting program so formated the hard drive and reinstalled the operating system (MCE) and the problem when away for a couple of days and now it is back and worse than ever...

The model is an all in one machine and I am terrified to try and take it apart like I would any of my other machines...

I have updated all of the driver - no good...
I rolled the drivers back to the install disk - no good...
Running a clean install with nothing else on the drive - no good...

I am at a total loss and would appreciate any help the wise world of the Sage Community to give me...

Oy, it sounds like you've got problems. Since it is an all-in-one, I think we all would agree that tearing it appart isn't going to do you any good since it isn't like you can slap a new vid card into it. That is the problem with the all-in-ones. I have an old imac that had the same problem (okay it was my sister's comp). You will probably want to get ahold of Gateway and see about getting it repaired (and how much that will cost ya).
