PVR-500 Image quality

I have 2 pvr-150's and one PVR-500. One 150 is connected to a Motorola Digital cable box that tunes only the Higher channels. The other 150 and the one 500 tunes all the lower channels. I have noticed that the 2nd tuner on the 500 has really poor quality. I thought it was the quality of the broadcast at first but I confirmed it is just that one tuner on the PVR-500. Is anyone else having this issue? Could this be a driver issue? I think it must be a hardware issue as the same coax feeds both tuners...

Have you tested the signal strength? If not, try disconnecting all splitters and run the main line directly into the PVR-500 and see if the picture is still bad on either of its tuners.

I am running a non-split main line into the PVR-500. the splitting is done internally on the card. So the signal strength is the same on both tuners.

I'm aware that the splitting is done internally by the 500 because I own one, look at my sig for my hardware specs. But I'm just wondering if the signal is strong enough. Maybe also do a test running the TV-Out of the motorola box into the 500, that will guarantee strong signal from the source. But if you are sure that the source is not the problem, then its either a driver problem or the hardware is bad, if thats the case, I hope you can exchange it.

If the signal strength was low I would think both tuners would yield poor picture quality.....
