Swapping tuners during live tv playback?

Maybe I'm only interested in this because I got used to using it with my Comcast Moto box, but is there any way to tell what tuner is showing which channel in a multi-tuner setup, and to swap back and forth between tuners during live tv?

I used to use this often if there were two live shows on at once that I was keeping an eye on but didn't care to record. With Sage it seems that unless there's not another available tuner, it automatically stays with the same tuner when you change channels, meaning if you switch back and forth you miss whatever part of the program was on when you were on the other channel.

Is this possible with Sage?

Set both shows to record. Watch one, switch to the other, and continue to bounce back and forth use last channel command

Yeah, I know that'll work, it just means unnecessary steps. Well, I guess they actually are necessary in this case huh?

I mainly did this on the moto due to lack of space and not wanting to record any and everything. Hopefully that won't be an issue with this machine. Also, I just figured out how Sage doesn't use a revolving buffer but records entire shows before it dumps them, so I guess I wouldn't be saving any space this way with Sage anyway.

Still would be handy though.

Is there a way to even know which tuner is watching what?

System Information should tell you what each tuner is doing at any given moment.

If you use the miniguide, it can be set to show which tuner is active on a particular channel while using the mini guide

Is this a property setting? I'm actually using SageMC. I can see the mini guide but don't know how to set it to show the tuner (or what to look for if it already is).

it is in the Detailed Setup, Customize, miniguide options. I attached a pic to show what to look for. Since the image is from my server, which I run the default STV on, it doesn't dhow it enabled, as I only imported it to generate the pic for you

Hmm... anybody know where to look in SageMC? I'm not running the standard STV right now. But now I know in case I do again in the future!
