Can't get Wireless MVP running.
After 2 weeks of waiting and a $30 handling fee at the border, I finally got my wireless MVP from Sage last week ... and have had nothing but hearbreak with it so far.
After futzing with it for hours and connecting it to the wired router dozens of times, it finally decided to spit out an "Invalid CRC" message regarding its firmware and auto-updated itself. After doing this, I got it to connect to my wireless network, and now the real grief has begun.
After successfully setting it up, and getting it to see my Sage server in setup, I can get the extender to show the booting to Sage screen, but it almost always hangs and never completes loading. I've changed the wireless channels, I've changed the sub-net but still nada, nothing zip. The one time it did make it through, it worked for about 2 minutes, then locked up solid the second I tried to playback a recording.
Anyone provide any ideas on what could be causing this? The server is an old p3-800MHz running the Sage in service mode, but from what I have read that should be fine since I am not transcoding anything (just playing back recorded TV / MPEG-2).
Any guidance appreciated.
