Question SageTV finding duplicate copies of video? Also, better video organization in-program?

I have several gigs of non-SageTV recorded video stored on one of my harddrives, and I've been able to import those into SageTV for viewing, but when I goto the list of files, SageTV displays 2 copies of each file.

"Smallville - 301"
"Smallville - 301~"
"Smallville - 302"
"Smallville - 302~"
etc.

If anybody has any ideas as to why SageTV is showing me multiple copies, I'd like to fix it. Each item listed plays, but needless to say, it's a little annoying and not very aesthetically appealing. I haven't been able to find any actual duplicate files on my computer, just these duplicate listings from within the program itself.

On to another question...

I have the files stored in the following file structure:

G:\TV Shows\Smallville\Season 1\Smallville - 101.avi (etc.)

Each show has its own designated folder, with seasons being further organized into their respective folders.

G:\Movies\Underworld 2.avi (etc.)
G:\Music Videos\etc...

Now, this keeps my videos extremely well organized with respects to folder hierarchy, but SageTV doesn't seem to care much for my neat-o organizational skills, and rather just scans the specified folders for files, listing them all alphabetically without regard for this hierarchical structure. Is there a way to setup playlists or something similar so that SageTV can show me certain TV shows and their seasons without showing me every other media file that's on that drive? For instance, when I go to view my archived files, I'd like to be able to select whether I want a movie or a TV show, and then be able to have a list of which TV Shows I have available (Smallville, The OC, The Real World, etc.), as opposed to having a long list of every TV show I have recorded.

Sorry if I'm making this sound more confusing than it actually is - I'm asking this from work, and don't have my computer in front of me to reference at the moment. I'm sure it's something that's been asked before, and I was hoping somebody can recognize what I'm talking about and point me in the right direction.

Thanks alot,
Aaron

It sounds like perhaps you have configured 2 video import dirs that end up pointing to the same location. Check those dirs in Detailed Setup -> General -> Import Dirs.
