Wiz.bin Question
Last I knew, the wiz.bin was responsible for keeping track of previously watched shows and favorites and stuff.
I recently purchased a new spiffy server to use as the main sage box in my house. It is now on sageTV5 (old was 4.0). It would be nice if the new box had all my old settings such as favorites and watched shows. The problem is, I don't want the new box to take the old boxes' configuration settings. I also noticed that the new blank wiz.bin is 600k and my old server(with a years data) is only 400. Is there an easy way to update this information without screwing up the new sage5.0 server?

Are you sure your old wiz.bin is only 400k? That sounds too small to have much data in it, so perhaps there is a wiz.bin somewhere else on your hard drive that is actually the one in use.
Anyway, wiz.bin does not contain your configuration settings; that info is in the properties file. You can use the old wiz.bin w/o bringing along the old properties files. - Andy
