Sage error -3, 80070070

Sage failed to record an important favorites show today with the error (3, 0x80070070) capture error.

I have 4 drives available for recording. One is almost full; the others have 200GB free, 85GB free, and 15GB free. My drives are all UNC.

After the failure, I performed a record test by manually recording a show. Sage started the recording on the drive with almost no space available. Why would it do that?

Within 5 minutes the drive was full. I didn't see a repeat of the error immediately, but after some troubleshooting I suspect the error is raised at the end of the scheduled recording, not at the point in time when the disk becomes full.

Why would Sage behave like this and how do I fix it? Thanks

It sounds like SageTV doesn't have permission to use the other UNC paths for storing recordings. If using service mode, make sure it is logging in as a user + password, & that user has permission to use those UNC locations.
