Is it possible to share one USB-UIRT device? (SageTV:irblast and Girder:ir receiver)

Is it possible to share one USB-UIRT device? (SageTV:irblast and Girder:ir receiver)

I would like to know if it's possible to have SageTV use my USB-URT just for IRblasting (for external TV tuner) AND concurrently have Girder control the USB-UIRT directly.

Basically, I need to have girder use the USB-UIRT to control applications outside of SageTV.

If the above isn't possible, is it possible to buy a secondary USB-UIRT on the same PC (dedicated to girder).
